Try to set up a K8N Neo2 Platinum (MS-7025) bios ver. 7025v1D with 4x1 GB ram Supertalent all four identical ones DDR400. First no boot. Set memory in bios to manual and set 200Mhz. Set timming to 2t and the mobo boot!

The problem: bios memory counts aprox 3700MB ram. Windows show 4GB and yes i know all the software related archq 32 bits. Planning to install windows 7 64bits soon. I have some blue screens memory related errors time to time. I don't find this topic in my search sorry if this is old thing.

I want to know how mobo doesn't show at bios boot 4096MB??? Any help apreciated.

I have a strange problem, I hope you experts can help me with. I have an MSI motherboard K8N Neo 2 Platinum, MS 7025 Ver 1.

The problem is the system will not turn on, but after I take out and reinstall the CMOS battery and put power to the power supply it turns on without pressing the power button. I flashed the bios, tried a new power supply and unhooked all devices. When the system is running the power button and the reset buttons do not work. Before I replace the motherboard, I wanted to ask your advice.

Have a great Christmas! At the very least it sounds as if your power/ reset pins on your motherboard are bad. It is not uncommon for a board to power up when you plug in your power supply.

What happens if you hold down the power button on your Chassi instead of just pushing it when its powered up, does it kill the power? I am assuming you have double and triple checked the chassi hookups to your motherboard to ensure your power and reset buttons are properly configured to the board. Always gotta ask the obvious questions. Anno 1701 Map Editor Chip. Golf Driving Range Swot Analysis Plus Business Plan more. Yeah, thats a bad sign, you should be able to kill the power with the power button no matter what. So it's either one of two things, you have a bad motherboard or your chassi connectors for your power and reset buttons are bad. I find it highly unlikely that both the power and reset buttons connectors ended up going bad.

You're probably looking at bad pins for your power and reset switches on your motherboard, at least at this point it looks like you've ruled everything else out.:( The computer seems like it runs fine on everything else, it just wont take a signal from your chassi. I'm sorry, I wish I had better news. I also know what it's like to send a motherboard back for a replacement, not a fun two weeks at all.
